Beaverdale Area Real Estate & Community Info

Beaverdale was once considered the western edge of Des Moines, Iowa. Now a lovely community of its own with a neighborhood population of 1,300, a 70% increase since 2000.

Once known for its fruit orchards and truck farms, it was the Fort Dodge Stage road stop in the early 1900's.  As the community developed, this road was renamed Beaver Avenue and eventually the towns people took on the name of Beaverdale to distinguish their community.
